Stephen spent hours over at the hospital with Leora. She told the nurse she had fallen and hurt her knee. Yeah, she did years ago.. the first winter we were here. She told the doctor it was a couple months ago so the doctor had an xray done of the knee. I give up. I think she hurt the knee when she was stomping the ants that only she could see yesterday morning.
going to bed... will see what tomorrow brings.

A Long Monday
Got everybody up a half hour later than usual. Seemed to work out better for all parties. Stephen took Leora over for her bladder thing. Won't have to go back until Thursday. He's kind of glad it's not a 3 day a week trip.. not that it's making much difference with her UTIs. She won't do what the doctor asked her (rinse that part of herself when she goes in the bathroom...the bottle has been empty for a week. Doesn't she know it's not a self filling bottle???? Guess I should put a pair of gloves on and fill it up for the old bird.)
The sprinkles were short lived. Just enough to mark the porch rails with little dots. And enough to make Boots decide he didn't want to go out and water the bushes. Ha ha.

Stephen is home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am so happy to have him home.. I know it was for one night but that night seemed to take forever to pass.
Have to call on Monday to make him a cardiology appointment. It's been almost a year since Newport had him hauled to Spokane. Thank God they decided to let him stay here this time around.
Watched the weather channel last night and all the hoopla over Hurricane Irene. I wouldn't want to be packed like a sardine in New York City this weekend. Nope. I'll stay here on the mountain.
Congrats to HayLee. Hope she enjoys the new position.
Looking forward to next Sunday! Breakfast on the "terrace" for all of us. We can watch the sun come up while we chow down. lol
