Feeling really low today. Finished the one wooden panel. Have some posts to cut off and ran out of screws to put the pickets up. Stephen says we are starting the roof on the deck tomorrow..maybe. Should take a day to put the metal roof on. Then we will do the screen and paneling to enclose it.
Hope everybody is doing okay.

Sorry, missed yesterday
Had that MRI yesterday. Took a little blue pill so I didn't tear up their machine (I absolutely hate small spaces!) so by the time I got home, all I managed to do was drag myself to bed. Stayed there most of yesterday (in zombie land) and didn't move much until the alarm went off this morning. Now I have a metallic taste in my mouth and feel like I've been put through the wringer. ARGH. No more little blue pills for me.
And as for the MRI, I now know what a sardine feels like crammed in a can with 6 of it's brethern. Either that is the smallest MRI machine or I am extremely meaty and don't fit in "normal" areas. lol
Stephen has to take the old bird down to the hospital to have the IV flushed today. They didn't want to remove it until they find out if the 10 days of hell (actually 11) were enough or if she needs to go through this crap for another 10 days. Stephen says if they want her to go through it another 10 days, the doctor can admit her @$$ to the hospital. He is refusing to go through the being up before 5 to get her over there in the morning and having to be there until 11 each night for the second dose. I don't blame him. He's not able to get his 8 to 10 hours of sleep.
And she just went back into the bathroom for the 10th time this morning. Yeah, she has the runs again/still. Maybe her eating her fingernails and boogers isn't agreeing with her stomach. She's worse than a 2 year old about putting stuff in her mouth. Sigh.
We have to walk up the mountain (and fall back into the yard) and put a stake at the property line so we can start on the fence on the east side of the property. Going to be sooooo much fun NOT.
This is yesterday's morning sky:
Pretty cool. But it didn't live up to the old saying "Red sky in the morning, sailor take warning.." No storm came through here.

Long day, gonna be a short nght
Have to get everyone up early tomorrow morning. She has her last IV treatment. Yay and I have that stupid MRI. They couldn't schedule it for the same time she's there but just after. Sucks to have to be there so darned long.
Waiting for Stephen to give me a call but I forgot to set the phone for him and I don't think he will remember how to get to our phone number. He's definitely not into the 21st century phone wise.
Hope your depression is getting better, Nic. Did you get any sleep? Hope you and HayLee don't have a hard "Monday" and that it goes smooth as silk for you both.
Maybe this blog will be easier to get in to. Have you set up a blog yet so I can have something to read, Nic? I know our hours are not lining up.
Back to working on the fence Tuesday. I am so thrilled. Sigh. Be glad when the place is all fenced. Then you can bring Mags over and let him roam the property. Plenty of trees for him to water, right?

Sunday
Going to be another long day. One more night and one more early morning and then no more twice a day to the hospital with Leora. Yay. But now she claims she's sick so she's on the BRAT diet (banana, rice and toast) until she quits feeling "queasy" to her stomach. (Her words, not mine)
We won't be dong any yardwork until after Monday... too tired to get anything done with the short time between hospital trips.
