Had that MRI yesterday. Took a little blue pill so I didn't tear up their machine (I absolutely hate small spaces!) so by the time I got home, all I managed to do was drag myself to bed. Stayed there most of yesterday (in zombie land) and didn't move much until the alarm went off this morning. Now I have a metallic taste in my mouth and feel like I've been put through the wringer. ARGH. No more little blue pills for me.
And as for the MRI, I now know what a sardine feels like crammed in a can with 6 of it's brethern. Either that is the smallest MRI machine or I am extremely meaty and don't fit in "normal" areas. lol
Stephen has to take the old bird down to the hospital to have the IV flushed today. They didn't want to remove it until they find out if the 10 days of hell (actually 11) were enough or if she needs to go through this crap for another 10 days. Stephen says if they want her to go through it another 10 days, the doctor can admit her @$$ to the hospital. He is refusing to go through the being up before 5 to get her over there in the morning and having to be there until 11 each night for the second dose. I don't blame him. He's not able to get his 8 to 10 hours of sleep.
And she just went back into the bathroom for the 10th time this morning. Yeah, she has the runs again/still. Maybe her eating her fingernails and boogers isn't agreeing with her stomach. She's worse than a 2 year old about putting stuff in her mouth. Sigh.
We have to walk up the mountain (and fall back into the yard) and put a stake at the property line so we can start on the fence on the east side of the property. Going to be sooooo much fun NOT.
This is yesterday's morning sky:
Pretty cool. But it didn't live up to the old saying "Red sky in the morning, sailor take warning.." No storm came through here.
