Another long day

Already Thursday about half way through the month.  So looking forward to the bonfire.  Be something different and fun for a change.
Leora is doing about the same.  She got the bathroom and her bedroom mixed up.  That made for a few tense moments, trying to get her turned around.  She's not happy with the clean sheets and blankets on her bed.  But we fear she is stashing her dirty disposable undies under her bed rather than put them in the garbage can in her room or the one in the bathroom.  I thought that by washing her bedding, the stink would stop.  The room reeks and will until I can figure out where she has those stinky things crammed.
She said she took a shower this morning.  Yeah, right.  She might have gotten into the shower but didn't bother to wash herself.  Stephen was half sick when I went in to take my lobster woman shower.  She had wiped her butt on a light pink towel and hung it up over the shower door.  Nothing like a couple of brown racing stripes against pink to turn one's stomach.  Guess who got the privilege of putting the towels in the washer with a big dose of bleach?  Sure wasn't Stephen.
I did ask her what she's doing with her disposables and she said she puts them in the garbage can.  I asked then if she was changing them like she's supposed to.  She just glared at me.  Come on, there were two pair in the can for 2 weeks worth of garbage.  Not one pair in the kitchen or bathroom garbage.  She really must treasure her stink.
I don't know if what she's doing is the dementia or if she thinks it makes her look so frail and elderly and people will do more for her.  Stephen has told her over and over that if she can't take care of herself, she'll have to be put in a home.  Which I'm afraid is where she is headed when she goes visiting in February.  I can't see Donna and Pete putting up with a stinky bedroom and a filthy bathroom.  Do I advise Donna to get white sheets, towels, etc so they can be  bleached?  Or let her find out on her own?
How are things in Sandpoint? I check with your blogs to see if anything is going on.  Ain't much happening in Oldtown.  Same old $h!t day in and day out.
